Evaluation of the effectiveness of transactional analysis in the treatment of anxiety disorders in adolescence

We are carrying out a research regarding the effectiveness of transactional analysis in the treatment of anxiety disorders with adolescents and adults in collaboration with A.I.A.T. and other Italian networks.

TA is a very widespread model of psychotherapy in the world, in Europe and in Italy. TA therapists achieve good results in treating various disorders and conditions of people.

The goal of this research is to help us understand which are the most effective mechanisms of change in AT psychotherapies, regarding anxiety disorders.

Transactional Analysis and Adolescent Depression.

The research plan, entitled “Toward a Transactional Analysis psychotherapy recognized as Empirically Supported Treatment: an Italian Replication Series design of Hermeneutic Single Case Efficacy Design on mood disorders” was presented to the E.A.T.A. funded by the European association of the same name.

I.T.A.C.A. in collaboration with other research centers, has decided to participate in this project, originally designed for adults, with the aim of developing and testing a modified version of the research protocol that could also become applicable to adolescents.
